A prečo? MacBook Air je wireless notebook. Nepotrebujete optickú mechaniku, ak si môžete filmy či hudbu stiahnuť priamo cez iTunes. Nepotrebujete optickú mechaniku, ak sa viete vzdialene pripojiť na akýkoľvek počítač v sieti (Mac či Windows) a používať jeho mechaniku.
